Welcome to the Media Center

The school media center serves as a hub for information, learning, and exploration. It provides resources that support the curriculum and enhance students' educational experiences. The media center is a place where students can discover new ideas, explore different perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. It also serves as a space for collaboration, research, and creativity, supporting students in their academic pursuits and preparing them for success in a rapidly changing world.

Follett Destiny Discover

The Media Center uses Follett’s Destiny Library Manager to maintain our library collection. Patrons access the collection using Destiny Discover, a graphics-based circulation software that allows them to search for print and digital content available in their school’s media center. Whether it’s a student or teacher looking for leisure reading/entertainment, materials to support homework or lesson planning, Destiny Discover will help them find what they’re looking for.

Destiny Discover can be accessed by students through Classlink. Look for Destiny Discover in the e-Library folder.

Want to view our collection? Click the Destiny Icon below.

Mrs. Norman, METI

Hi Readers! I have been a teacher for over 15 years and I love being the METI (Media and Educational Technology Instructor) at PES.  I promote and foster a love for reading through class checkout, ebooks, the book fair, and ordering new and relevant books that students are interested in.  The other portion of my job centers around creating a 21st century learning environment.  I am so excited to work with all the students this year! When I am not at school, I love traveling, reading, baking, and hanging out with my husband and our three-year-old son, Jacob. See you in the library!

Ms. Glasper, Media Parapro

My name is Paris Glasper and I am proud to say I am the 2024-2025 Media Para. I am currently working towards my Masters of Education in School Counseling. I know majority of the student body but am excited to meet my new friends!
